Before connecting the network camera to the Internet, set the network camera to local access. You can configure the initial status by referring to the delivered technical documents. After the network camera is set to local access, you can start remote access to the network camera.

Before configuring remote access, you are advised to contact your network administrator to ensure that you have proper permissions to configure remote access for the network camera.

In order to access routers on the network to configure port forwarding, we need to know the IP address of the router to which the IP network camera is connected. You can obtain the IP address by consulting the network administrator or entering ipconfig /all in the Windows command prompt. To open a command prompt window, you need to click the start button of the window, and then click Run. You will now go to "Commands" and click "OK" to continue.

Now that you have the router's IP address, type it into your Web browser. The router can be accessed in this example by entering the IP address 192.168.0.1 in the Internet Explorer address bar.
