Sunell Technology joins the United Nations Global Compact, Supporting Sustainable Development

Recently, Sunell Technology joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the world’s largest initiative for promoting sustainable business practices. Established in 2000 under the United Nations Secretariat, the UNGC has over 24,000 participating companies and stakeholders from nearly 170 countries.

Joining the UNGC represents another significant step by Sunell Technology in its commitment to leveraging technology for good and supporting global sustainable development goals. Sunell Technology aims to explore and implement higher quality and more efficient models of operation, while continuing to innovate and create social value, contributing to the global sustainable development agenda.

The UNGC encourages businesses worldwide to adopt ten principles in the areas of human rights, labor standards, environmental practices, and anti-corruption into their strategies and operations. It also fosters capacity building, dialogue, and innovative partnerships to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

These goals align with Sunell Technology’s ongoing efforts. Over the years, Sunell Technology has been refining its management systems and taking action in smart manufacturing, green operations, low-carbon products, compliance, employee welfare, and anti-corruption, thereby fulfilling its global responsibilities and enhancing transparency. In its business development, Sunell Technology integrates corporate social responsibility and sustainability into its operations, using AI technologies and products to support the digital transformation across various industries and promote sustainable development on social issues, such as wetland conservation, intelligent forest fire prevention systems, and efficient river and Lake Ecosystem management.

Moving forward, Sunell Technology will continue to explore best practices in corporate governance, compliance, and green development. Through technological innovation, it aims to make a positive social impact and work with the United Nations Global Compact to help build a sustainable future.
