Solution1
Get the Device ID and Device Date information generated from Tools, and contact technicians to obtain a temporary password which is only valid for the day.
1. Connect the camera and the computer to the same network through a switch or network device

2. Run the “Tools” on the computer, the cameras will be searched out and displayed in the list.

3. Please contact your technicians and provide the Device ID and Device Date. (For example: 22D91D, 2025-03-31)

4. The technician will give you a temporary password based on the information you provided. The password is only valid on that date.
5. Log in with this temporary password and change the password ASAP.

Solution 2
Restore the password by pressing and holding the reset button for about 15 seconds. Please note that all the configurations will be restored using this method.
Reset button is only applicable for some models, you may find it on harness cable or on camera body (refer to following pictures).
